Origins

A lockdown hobby, and a need to think creatively about repurposing materials lead to the joy of woodwork. Making household and garden items became a passion.

From a desire to create with my hands, and a need to make simple, delightful and useful products, I started Saltwood Crafts in 2025.

Inspiration

Saltwood Crafts, situated between the countryside and the coast, takes inspriation from rugged rural craftmanship, modern design and the beauty of the natural world.

Seeking to minimise waste in our society and repurpose materials, we recycle and upcycle where we can to create unique and functional products.

I am passionate about the natural world and the importance of sustainability.

Today

I am a small company that makes handmade products for the home. Working from my small local workshop and with selected partners, I create unique and functional products.

I am happy to take on commissions for custom products and to work with you to create something special.
